Bolton condom distribution scheme
The aim of the scheme is to support agencies who have contact with young people of all sexualities to be able to provide free condoms together with information, advice and guidance about sexual health issues and the legalities of distribution of condoms to young people. If a health professional is worried that you are at risk or harm or abuse they may need to share some information which we usually do after discussing with you first.
All GP's and Health Centre's supply FREE contraception.
Remember that whatever your age or problem, even if you are under 16, you have the right to confidentiality from anyone who works for the NHS. All Secondary Schools in Bolton have a School Nurse drop in service providing advice, support and signposting to relevant services. (days and times may vary, so enquire with School)
In addition to this, the Schools listed below have an enhanced School nurse drop which allows nurses to prescribe contraception if and where appropriate: St Catherine's Academy, Rivington & Blackrod, Smithills, Harper Green, St James'
